How did You know Ikimonogakari?

Last year, i saw an "いきもの-something" somewhere in the internet, but i didn't care to research at the time.
Then, in the beginning of 2008, when i was in Japan, i saw the "Hana wa Sakura Kimi wa Utsukushi" single, in a bookstore. The "いきもの-something" just popped in my head.
But now, when i remember this, i say: "WTF?"

And the rest is history...

I was watching the last opening of Naruto (only the opening) and i like the song, then i think a little, and download everything about them, i download the SAKURA single, and the song like me very much, then HANABi and everything xD, my sisters say that they have a different style, and loves the harmonica (they almost don´t like the J-Music, but like this band xD)

I was in the car with my friends and sumbody play Uruwashiki Hito from da pHonee..

I listened to it and thought "hey diz is good!"

sO Uruwashiki Hito is my 1st Ikimono song hwahwahwaha

i know Ikimono Gakari first when i listen to Hanabi from ending song of anime Bleach, and then i listen to Iki's album "Sakura Saku Machi Monogatari" and become Iki's fans all of a sudden...hehehehe
almost every song of Ikimono Gakari is great...even more and more great...hehehe

I heard Seishun Line in an IPod that my friend found in their yard.
I really found this song so off-beat or out of timing, especially the "Bokura wa ima hashirida suyo" part of the chorus.
Funny I was so irritated that it rings in my head and eventually memorized it.
So I googled it, found the single, heard Natsuzora Gurafiti too, fell inlove with this two songs and later falling inlove with all their songs and the band.. and most of all kiyoe-chan!

Yosh! there goes my little story..
Thanks to the lost IPod my friend found.. whoever owned it.

I thank Naruto it was the opening that led me to Ikimonogakari. Blue bird is not my fav song now (it's Hana wa Sakura Kimi wa Utsukushi) but it led me to them so thanks TV Tokyo!!

There is no promotion of ikimono gakari at all in Taiwan. However, I was browsing on youtube randomly one day. I was looking for some new music to listen to. As I can recalled, I was listening to Ayaka's "Ogaeri." And after that song was done playing on Youtube, I found out ikimonogakari's music video was on the list of related videos. I clicked on it. I just fell in love with them. And I kept searching their songs on Youtube ever since then.

Too bad that I cannot buy any CD of theirs in Taiwan.......

bf was watching Naruto (i stopped since there's no more itashi or sasuke :p) and he usually skips the songs but for some reason he had time and watched the whole thing.
so i heard the catchy tune of "aoi aoi ano sora"
and i was happy bc i could translate it a very very very little bit.
searched them on youtube and now i want all their songs
mine mine mine!

like most, I found out this awesome band from Naruto's OST 'hanabi'.
It took me only a little time to become completely in love with iki's songs..

Do you mean Hanabi from BLEACH or Blue Bird from Naruto Shippuden?

Bleach anime. I was watching all the show's ending themes on YouTube and saw HANABI. I've been hooked ever since.

Thank God for the internet, bcuz Japan import cds are expensive in the US (I actually bought their 2 albums from reliable online sources. Gotta make sure Kiyoe makes some $$$!!

It all started when their song "Blue bird" got introduced as an opening theme for Naruto Shippuuden (which is for me the best opening song for naruto)...got curious but not to the point of researching for the singer yet..

one day i was shopping in comic alley/tokyo kids (anime shop in the philippines...not sure if the shop is international), then i saw the music video of blue bird..and got attracted with their PV and with the singer (kiyoe)....got back home, i immediately turned on my pc and research the band's name....then the rest is history...


with the help of wikki and this forum...i learn new things about IG day after day...arigato gozaimasu!

I've discovered Ikimono Gakari when I was browsing randomly on youtube. The first song I heard from them is "Sakura". Although japanese is totally different that french I totally fell in love with Kiyoe's voice. Since I've discovered them I can't stop listening to their music.

Good to know that the Ikimono Gakari Empire is growing everyday!

anime plays a BIG part =D

Sometimes I downloaded some random song on multiply and it's Ikimono Gakari. The first song I hear is Seishun Line, then I know Blue Bird as Naruto's ending (If I'm not wrong, I'm bad at memorizing things). And then because I like it, I search the other song...And ending up here.. I like them more than another Jband..haha...

I bealive that is my favrite song of Ikimono

I saw their 59th Kouhaku Uta Gassen presentation since then Sakura it's my favorite song, I always remember the awesome sakura tree in the LED's [I think] screen... I even share it in my personal blog XD
