How did You know Ikimonogakari?

Ok how did u find out about this band??

I'm know this Band when i go into bleach when Hanabi being as Bleach ending theme i found that this songs is sooo nice so i wnet to search for Hanabi and i also find sakura single when i donwload both Wahhh NICE so i began to search more about this Band song

With Koisuru Otome single. I downloaded the single at firs just for the cover (Because the pink doll XD) and then I lost a little of interest because Ryuusei Miracle, which I didn't like at first. Than came the album...and you know the rest.. ^^

i think tsunvun86 "introduced" me to the band.. cant remember ... but before that i listened to some of their songs b4... juz that i din really "fall in love" wit the band till a few mths back... *no swt emoticon?* LOL

I saw Ikimono Gakari on Music Station. I liked the song but then I didn't bother looking it up. Then I see them being mentioned again so I thought I download their album for a try. After that I have been following their every single hehe...

found them out during their Nastuzora Graffiti performance in Music Station....
Got hooked to them ever since....

can I say that I don't remember? I have a feeling that one of their songs came along with one of those mass downloads I used to do...and I liked it, but not enough to download more of their music. Then tsunvun86 kind of re-introduced it to me, I guess.

I downloaded music station one day then I saw them. I thought they looked pretty cool and sounded pretty good. So I downloaded their single and fell in love with them. XD

I saw their performance on Music Station.."Akaneiro no Yakusoku"..I like it already even though it's my first time listening to it..and now, i'm starting to dl their other songs..

I was introduced to them by Bleach. I remember on youtube people didn't like the song, but I was "THIS IS GOOD MUSIC YOU BAKAS!" haha ^^ Loved them ever since.

Hmm lets see how I got to know... errrrmmmmm... Oh I remember.. It 4Erika( the main admin here) introduce me in Xd... he ask me to help out in this site XD... But I got to love Ikimonogakari after awhile XD.. cause I went to watch Bleach -_-.. XD

I first found out about them from Bleach, I started looking into them more after hearing Hanabi

I was impressed by their performance on Music Station. they were performing Akaneiro no Yakusoku. then I started to like them

knew Ikimonogakari from Jpopmusicforum, when their single "Sakura" was out, someone recommended this band. I checked the song. and like it

I heard Hanabi from bleach, altought I loathe the anime..
after that I hunger for more Ikimono, The next I got was Ryuusei Miracle which was bone-crushingly fantastic...


I can't believe I'm about to hear the Life Album! Oh god!

I know them becoz of Nakagawa Shoko (中川翔子), on 02/08 Music Station she is one of the guest, and I love them after I watch they sing "Hana Sakura Kimi Wa Utsukushi"

i kow ikimono from my friend Sechan. she gave me the Sakura 2007 version PV and i love it. then i realize they sing hanabi too. i begin to like them more. when Natchi spread the word about this forum i wasn't too intersted at first. but in YUI-lover forum they share Hana wa Sakura kimi wa utsukushi PV. i watched it and i went straight to this forum.

their song is extremely good

I learned it from an old friend (Yvette) who has been into Jpop for quite sometime now.
When she learned I was into Yui music and stuff she introduced Ikimonogakari, particularly the Sakura song. She kept saying "Their music is good! Go listen to Sakura!". -- I think she's madly in-love with the song. hehe.

So I downloaded the the Saku Machi Monogatari album, fell in-love right away with Ryuusei Miracle and Kimi To Aruita Kisetsu (BTW, the latter uses Pachelbel's Canon in D chords in the stanzas, if you havent noticed yet) and then finally ended up collecting all their songs and delightfully craving for more.

Their melodies are amazingly bright, catchy, simple yet full of life. Mizuno Yoshiki is, for me, a melody genius!
Kiyoe, on the other hand, is perfect for the vocals.

suprisingly, it was purely by chance.. i was doing a search on chatmonchy vids up on youtube and ikimonogakari just happened to pop up as one of the related videos..

the clip that i watched "koisuru otome"..followed by "HANABI", and then, "sakura".. hehe. i was completely amazed by the singers voice that i had to hear more.. it was mesmorizing! not to forget, this 3 piece band with a female fronted vocalist reminded me dearly of the late "Do As Infinity" who introduced my to the world of jpop in the first place. so it was quite nostalgic seeing them.. as for their music, it's superb! it blends perfectly with kiyoe's singing and what else can i say.. the music just puts you in a great mood and pretty much pulls you in!

After listening Koisuru Otome, I started to looking another PV and songs from them..

Bleach! I think many of us and other people knew them because of this anime. xD So, Bleach was very good for their career!

starting that day i love ikimono gakari

I first listened to their song through BLEACH,
but but, as I've mentioned before, my first image on this band is just: うるさい！(means noisy) LOL
*that was when I'd just graduated from my high school*

Then, I went to Uni, that was when I started developed interest into Jpop, and became a Jpop freak.............*back to 2 years ago*
I kinnda knew them again, by chance~
I was browsing, browsing, and browsing over the internet,
and saw some interesting cover *if I'm not wrong, it should be SAKURA*
then: DOWNLOAD > EXTRACTED > LISTENED > NOT BAD!!!
since then, I sort of memorized their hiragana's name in my mind~
and everytime they releases new singles or album, I download. XD
LOL~
(but i didn't really went and search for their profiles, pictures etc, as I was focusing on YUI and Mika that time)

Yeap, as time goes by, developed more LOVE on them XD
ended up buying their Japan Version Album in HMV,
and finally, decided to join this forum here~
