Yes....i totally agree with you....ikimono gakari = yoshiki+kiyoe+hotaka....that`s the formula....each of them are gifted with talents...yoshiki is a great composer, kiyoe hv such an angelic voice and hotaka is a good harmonica player...so, the 3 of them just perfect as 1....they are the REAL band for me...they wrote their own songs, they can play the instruments and on top of that, kiyoe voice is soooo beautiful (so as the person *wink wink*)........hee~

ahahahah...i love both of them.their band was amaze me.especially kiyoe she`s very kawaii, i think they are like chess,when there is no king can be played, as ikimonogakari without kiyoe the band was ugly.

Yeah, if one could miss, ikimono doesn't be ikimono.

Mizuno founded the band
Hotaka added the harmonic style and other rhytms
Kiyoe added the great voice that everyone adore (include not fans)

Actually if i were to pick between the two guys...I would also go for hotaka...His character is just like mine...and I like his sense for fashion. Aside from that, strumming the guitar while playing harmonica at the same time is not an easy feat.

But when it comes to composition, they're equal.

Yet, kiyoe is still leading...hehehe....is it because there are so many boy-fans than girl-fans?

I think there are lots of fangirls, but as for me, the thing that first attracted me to the band was her voice, which is incredible, later I realised I like the music. I don't know, vocalists always get much more attention, that's all.

of course kiyoe-chan.. XD i'm sorry for both hocchi and yocchan, but i like them too.. ^^

Yea..vocalist get more attention than other group members...because they are the lead player in a team, if one team have a good guitarist or drummer, but the singer cant singer...it`s useless...hehehe....luckily, iki`s have them all, a good singer, good guitarists...and three of them are also good composers....perfect combination!

^just to add to your statement...i'm into drumming as well so yeah drum is an important factor in a band's overall musicality. There's no beat if there's no drums.

So I can say that I also like their drummers....Props to the drummers of Ikimono Gakari.
