[Single] Netsujou no Spectrum / Namida ga Kieru Nara (OUT 2014.10.15)

Hi guys !

I have some great news. It is a little late but since there were no post about it on the forum I decided to make one.

Ikimonogakari has been choosen to sing the opening of the anime "Nanatsu no Taizai". The song will be released together with "Namida ga kieru nara" on October 15. Thus this new single will be a double-A one.

And if I remember correctly they will also hold a live in October with Shimada Masanori and other artists such as Hata Motohiro. Masanori Shimada is an arranger who has worked for artists such as Ikimonogakari, Hata Motohiro, Aiko or Juju.

A new anime song!

Like Etta James would say, "At Laaaaaaaast". ^^

Seriously though, I am quite curious to know how this single will sound like. Even more after I saw that it is supposed to be an anime with a medieval setting.

Im quite anxious for this new song.
I know that they'll deliver. And I hope the anime becomes succesful not only in Japan but in the rest of the world, usually the first opening it's the one that sticks in everybody's mind.

Ok first of all, I didn't know what the anime is all about until I searched for it...from the looks of the manga, it seems that they will do I mid-tempo song if its an opening track and a mellow one if its an ending track...just my opinion.

Let's just wait and see...

I heard the song for the anime (they played it during their latest radio show Ikimonogakari no Garden Party) but I can't find it anymore. I will look for it when I'll have time.

The song reminded me of "Spirits". Kiyoe's voice was very deep and I think it suits the anime perfectly.

And also their new profile image has changed. Here is the new one.

I agree, when I first saw the pic, it felt new to me, I also love dark iki, but hopefully not dark music. hehe

I'd say that, depending on the packaging, that cover could look quite cool.

The previews were nice as well, it does sound like an anime song by Iki. I mean, it might just be me but it does seem to have a different feel than most of what they are releasing nowadays and more akin to the type of sound from a "Hotaru no Hikari".

Here's the 30 seconds preview for the anime. You can clearly hear Ikimono Gakari's song and I think it fits perfectly with the anime.

It has been so long since they have made an anime song, I am so excited for this !

It just showed up in my Twitter that "Namida ga Kieru Nara" has a PV and it's a retweet by Mizuno-san. I checked details myself and I was led to their official site. So it's something like they're going to make a PV of "Namida ga Kieru Nara" and they're asking people to send entries (eezou... I wonder if the correct translation for that is "picture book" or what) and they're going to select. The deadline is November 14 and there aren't any criteria for judging (or does it say there aren't any limitations). Please do translate it as soon as possible. Thanks.
