THE ALBUM ART IS OUT!

They finally appeared again as a trio in an album cover. . I think the last time they appeared in an album art as a trio is Balladon (December 2012).

It was probably as rushed as the album release seems to have been. Haha

^LOL... then that means it must have been super duper rushed xD

When Ikimonogakari members appeared in the video they were just finished with the recording. Yes, I can assume they rushed it. Even their announcement of the album seems rush, announcing it less than two months before release.

I'm really liking the song called Life.

Opinions so far? I think fans will like this album but this album shows also that Ikimonogakari still goes safe with well known sound you expect. So for the future maybe more fun to risk to try something new? Back to the old days? ^^

Safe it's a correct assestment of this album, I think they'll stay doing it because it's what it works for them in Japan, they get endorsments, openings (soaps, anime), appearences in TV, etc.
I would love for them to do an album like LIFE, lots of rock songs in that album.
But at the same time I don't think they will unless they change labels and go back to smaller one.

Regardless I like it very much thus far, because I think Kiyoe is really good at singing a lot of different styles of music, and has lots of ways to sing.
Favorites so far:
- Golden Girl (it's very catchy).
- Netsujou no Spectrum
- LIFE
- Jump
- Kagerou
- SNOW AGAIN

Yeah, I agree. I wish they'd do less songs with the orchestra all over it.. It seems kind of safe and repetitive now... I'm sure these new songs on their album would sound incredibly different if they did different arrangements that would highlight the band more, just like the old days... I hope on their next album they try to experiment some more...
