Oricon released it's 9th Annual Favourite Artist Rankings having surveyed 20,000 music fans to discern which are the favorite artists in Japan and Ikimono Gakari came in second place.

^have they beaten arashi in the previous rankings? why oh why... but looking back from where they started...this is a great achievement already.

^I don't know if they have ever beaten Arashi, especially since I think they got first place for three years in a row but second place is great.

Being in the top 5 is such a great achievement for them. Well I think, at this moment, it is quite hard to beat Arashi, but no one know what will happen in the future. Iki's fans keep increasing year after year, maybe they will be able to beat Arashi one fine day....

LOL, obviously arashi are for teens, with them being no. 1 among the 20's...but props they are still in the top 5 among the 40's. I wonder what will be their ranking among the 60's-80's. Hehehe
