It comes out 2 days before Christmas. Unfortunately, I'll be back in the States for Christmas so I'll have to wait til I come back here to buy it. But I'm REALLY excited. And they're touring again next year. I didn't get to go this year because I was still settling in. But I will fight to get tickets this time!!! I musst see them!

I'm going to the one in Tokyo. C.C Lemon Hall. June 5th and 6th, 2010. My Japanese is not that great so it's difficult trying to figure out how to buy tickets. I'm having someone help me. But it seems like you have to join their fan club to get tickets. And you have to buy to join their fan club. It seems complicated but I promised myself I would do ANYTHING and EVERYTHING to try to go.

may be it will be aired on television.. like concert in Shibuya AX, which is broadcast by BS2..

it'll probably take a year or two...they haven't release the album yet and no specific schedule for another major concert...we don't even have the "my song your song concert" yet...so let's just wait

i wonder, why do they never released dvd concert like another artists?
they had bunches of concerts before, but no one of them released on dvd..

i guess too busy to promote it coz they are more focus on singles and albums....maybe later but not now.

is there something wrong with their management?

usually, for a band as famous as ikimonogakari.. it's no weird that their magamenet will treat them as their "milk cows", the money maker machine..
or are they being a stepchild?

but, this case is an anomaly for ikimonogakari..
just see this fact:
they never released concert dvd,
they never made some variation on their singles/albums
(ex: cd, cd+dvd; only starting from nakumonka they make regular and limited edition for their product),
they never make their own concerts in big stage (i think they popular enough for this)..

for a 4 years old band, this is a weird situation..

my opiniion, it's because of their humility...

hehe i dunno..better talk to the management...haha just kidding.

probably they have to gain stability first before they can have a major concert on such big venue. they had major concerts before like the one in the football field but i guess thats a joined concert and not as themselves only.

about the way they released their cd's and dvd's...i dunno maybe they have a better marketing strategy for that...trust me they are "ikimono gakari" and their management would do everything just to squeeze all their worth and utilize their full potential.

lets just be patient and wait for the right moment.

i think the "problem" is not with their management, but with ikimonogakari itself..
look at SCANDAL, under the same recording company, EPIC RECORDS..
now, they become more idol than band..
as long as you make money, it's no matter for their management..

maybe for ikimonogakari, it's because of their preferrence..
but i prefer ikimonogari like now.. nothing need to change..
their humility is the most priceless asset..
