daffodil = suisen (すいせん) (水仙)
i'm using Oxford Beginner's Dictionary [(c) Jonathan Bunt, 2000, 2006]
it has both eng to jap and vice versa.
you can google it

Thanks Akira-bug, but what I mean is an online site where you input the englsih word and then produces the Japanese characters.

Example:
daffodil > 水仙

You'll have to install Japanese language support. Assuming you're using Windows XP, you can follow these directions.
