Summer Wars, anyone?

I'm just wondering if anyone here has seen the movie Summer Wars

Ehh, not really. I think The Girl Who Leapt Through Time and Summer Wars are both great movies in themselves. I highly recommend Summer Wars. It reminded me A LOT of Digimon. The one with Tai and Kairi and stuffs

That won the Japanese "Best animated movie" of 2009 but, even though I think it's a pretty nice movie, I think it's overrated. It left me that feeling of "best of 2009? than that was a slow year".

I've yet to watch the live-action version of the girl who leapt through time. I downloaded it and never got around to it.

@duzano - what i meant was...the director of both movies is the same...and the way it was dubbed kinda reminds me of the girl who leapt through time...obviously both movies have different plots.

summerwars and toki wo kakeru shojo (the girl who leapt thrugh the time) is in the same studio. its madhouse. so no wonder why they're alike in goodness
