Re: LOOK! CAMERA!
I feel like it's time to say goodbye to the summer. At least here it is definitely autumn already.
These are some shots I made this summer with my film camera. They look like they're freaking old. That's why I love colored films so much.
The photos are clickable, I think.
Anya and Vasya sitting on a beach near a lake.
Anastasia somewhere in Saint-Petersburg. We spent a couple of days there.
The fingers are of a friend of mine
Also, this is from a digital camera, but anyway.
I kinda miss my old hair. I hope it'll grow quicker.
I've been sorta busy and couldn't find time to post much at all these days... btw I hope you'll post some pics too guys. Don't make me feel egocentric.

Re: LOOK! CAMERA!
@ ikimo
lol at your photos neighbours, huh?
I like the pic from the shop as well.
I didn't use to develop films on my own, but have recently tried. That's probably the reason they look so old and strange and there are lots of spots and scratches on them.
Thank you for your compliments, guys, I really appreciate your opinion!

Re: LOOK! CAMERA!
sorrrryyy to ask this stupid question but how do you develop the pics?? is it like in tv where you have to be in a dark room and hang the pictures?? are all pro cameras like that??

Re: LOOK! CAMERA!
Yes, you need a dark room. Once you're there and there's no trace of light, you take the film out of its package and straighten it out, then you roll it up but carefully so that the sides of it don't touch. You place it in a special chemical solution which reacts with the silver which is on the film. Then you place it in another liquid which stabilizes the process. Then you dry the film.
The whole process takes up an immense amount of time, I mean really, a lot of time, and it's not easy at all. Besides, it's not easy to find (well, at least in modern Moscow) all the equipment. Partly, I used the old things my father used when he as young and developed films.

^ well you don't HAVE to do it yourself - normally you get the film processed at special places for reasonable money.

They give me different feeling sometimes.
In some eterm cold place, digital camara can't function well.
mechanical SLR will be good in this situation.
