Hmm, i think arigatou and kimi ga iru are two different things...for those who loves ballad will probably say arigatou is better than kimi ga iru, and for those who are not into ballad, definitely will choose kimi ga iru...the point is, both songs have different strength...personally, i think arigatou is among the best ballad they have other than yell, nakumonka, etc...you cannot compare ballad song with upbeat song, it is way too different....try to compare kimi ga iru with spices magic, kimagure romantic or any other non-ballad song, then only you can see the different..hehehe....i`m just voice out my opinion because i believe some of us loves arigatou as well....

I do in fact, I enjoyed Kiyoe's voice much more in Arigatou as well.
I hope this new song'll grow on me though.

The song is catchy, but it's too light and "fluffy" to me. I like their serious, sad songs and their rocking songs better. This song sounds too much like the typical Jpop music on the Oricon charts.

I'm still happy the group is popular enough that they are asked to compose music for TV shows and movies.

i don't like it that the song was used for credits though. just like kimagure romantic. the song should have been used as insert song during the actual story.
