New Album?

The band's wiki entry on the Jpop Stop! wiki lists the release date of a new album (untitled so far) on 12/23/2009.

Can anyone verify this? I don't see anything on their website, but I don't read Japanese either so maybe I missed something. I'll be very excited if it's true!

What I remember is that I said the new album would be a Christmas gift for me. ^^

I heard this rumor for a while, but not so sure whether it's true or not..

It will be released Desember 23th, so it's Ikimonogakari Chistmas gift for all of you guys..

Anyway, do you hope some track from indie era will be remixed in this new album?

I did not like Nakumonka, and Hotaru no Hikari was not there the best single of the band, so rough that the other songs compensate for this
Compared with the 1st album, My Song Your Song was not expetacular, although Kaeritaku Natta Yo is there
Ikimono Gakari for some time now is disappointing me with excess of sad music,but I think YELL to save the CD

My Song Your Song was good, but lacked exencia of the first albums, singles and those with the most complete in terms of instruments is Futari, but still prefer YELL, I think this new album will not be a success, but I hope I to enjoy what he has to offer

Songs from singles are only half the music on their albums. I think the same will be true on the new album, so there might be 5-7 new songs to listen to.

As for what kind of songs they will be, who knows? They have been writing more ballads and slow tempo songs recently so maybe that's the direction their songwriting is headed. As long as I like the song personally, I don't care whether it's a ballad or a rock song. But I am hoping for more songs like "Happy Smile Again", which I like a lot.

Hajimari no Uta is the same name of the song of Puffy AmiYumi
I liked the name,but the tracks is unsatisfying
